Eyebrow Pigmentation Aftercare: Day-by-Day Healing and What to Avoid

Results depend as much on the first two weeks of care as on the application.

Day What you see What to do
1 Dark, defined brows, mild redness Clean gently as instructed
2–3 Darkest colour, mild swelling Don't touch; thin aftercare balm
4–7 Flaking, itching Never pick
8–14 Brows look faded or "gone" Normal; colour returns
Weeks 3–4 Colour re-emerges Assess
Weeks 4–8 Final colour Touch-up

The "my brows disappeared" phase is very common; a thin layer of new skin covers the pigment for a few weeks.

Avoid for 10–14 days: rubbing or picking; makeup on brows; sauna, steam and heavy sweating; pools and the sea; direct sun and sunbeds; peels, acids, retinol on brows; sleeping face-down; waxing, tweezing or tinting.

Washing: follow day-one instructions; then don't run water directly over brows, pat dry without rubbing and apply aftercare balm very thinly. Keep showers short and lukewarm and tilt your head back when washing hair.

Sign Possible meaning

Yellow-green discharge Infection
Widespread raised itchy rash Allergic reaction
Swelling increasing after day 3 Needs review

Long term: protect brows from sun, ask before lasers or peels nearby and don't skip the touch-up.

At our Istanbul clinic clients receive written instructions and aftercare balm, with photo follow-up; clients in Yalova, Bursa, Kocaeli and Gebze can message us during healing.
